SILPAT Non-Stick Baking Mat is designed for all types of ovens. From cookie baking to gourmet pastry making, nothing sticks to SILPAT. It is reusable for thousands of uses and provides even heat transfer to baked goods.

How to Use

  • Place SILPAT on a baking sheet or pan with the writing side up.
  • Do not use grease. Lay product to be baked or frozen directly on the SILPAT.
  • Note that your recipe baking temperature may need to be adjusted according to your oven. SILPAT is effective in temperatures from –40°F to 480°F (–40°C to 280°C).

Easy Cleaning

  • Clean your SILPAT mat with a damp, soft sponge, then rinse with clean water.
  • Shake to remove excess water and dry in open air.
  • A mild detergent or soap may be used if needed.
  • Note: a slight oily residue after washing is normal, as is a slight discoloration. Strong flavored foods may leave a trace scent on the SILPAT.
  • Once clean and dry, store the SILPAT flat.

Caution

  • Do not use scrapers or brushes to clean SILPAT.
  • Never cut the SILPAT or cut ON the SILPAT.
  • Do not fold the SILPAT.
  • Do not grease the SILPAT. It doesn’t need it.
  • Never use a cut or ripped SILPAT as the fiberglass mesh material could migrate into the food.
  • Avoid using automatic dishwashers, as they may harm the SILPAT.
  • Do not use SILPAT with a broiler, a grill, or place directly on the bottom of an oven.
